What Shall I Be?

My life is definitely getting lamer and lamer by the day. It's a Saturday and here I am at home, blogging. No one's at home except for lame ol' me. The truth is, I overslept today even though I slept early last night. 2am is considered early for me. I usually hit the bed around 4am. But last night I was in la la land by 2 in the morning and still, I woke up late! Like Milli Vanilli, I'm blaming it on the rain. I woke up to see my mom all dressed up and ready to leave for an open house. She asked me if I wanted to follow. Yeah sure, if she wanted to wait another hour or so for me to get ready. I'm really not the type of person who can just jump into the shower and would be ready 10 minutes later. No way. If I were to follow my Mom just now, it would've taken me 3 minutes to find my towel which is always where it is anyways, but I tend to walk around the room aimlessly first. I have no idea why. And then when I do find my towel, I'd open my closet and that would take at least 10 minutes to find something to wear. And only then would I jump into the shower and I'd also hafta wash my hair! That's usually at least a 25 minute shower because you gotta remember to use conditioner, people! After I'm done with my shower, I'll move over to my Mom's vanity room in her bathroom to floss, brush my teeth, wash my face, and blow dry my hair. Once that's done, I'll start to get into my clothes. After that, I'll do my makeup which usually takes at least 15 minutes. Then I'll grab my bag, head downstairs and look for my shoes. After one quick look in the mirror, I'll rush into the car where usually everyone would already be waiting patiently for me.

But today wasn't one of those days. Today I stayed at home which turned out to be a good thing because the crimson wave decided to hit my south shore today and when that happens I'd rather be at home. I don't think I'd wanna be at some other person's house pad-less and ponstan-less. That would've definitely sucked.

Oh, on a lesser lame note though, I do have Halloween to look forward to next week. My dear friend A'a just messaged me to ask if it was still on cuz she wanted to get a costume. I'm not actually the right person to ask because it wasn't me who decided to go all out for Halloween next week. *points frantically at Alia, Rafiq and Shakira* Yeah, don't look at me. It was all their idea. And now I guess since other people are already invited, I gotta think of what to be on Halloween! And I have no idea!! Any ideas, people?? I was thinking of being a sexy devil because I already have devil horns and Rafiq can get me a pitchfork from his office. So all I gotta do is find a red dress which isn't so hard to do. Buttttt... how many devils do you think I would bump into that nighht?? Bo-Ring!! So devils and angels are SO out! Maybe I can borrow my cousin's uniform for a day.. She's a nurse! LOL! If only I had more time, I would've definitely gotten something from eBay. Orrr, I could always go as one of those sexy showgirls like in one of thoseLas Vegas Shows. Oh, and speaking of Las Vegas, Rafiq's parents are going there in a few weeks time and I heard they've got themselves a whole lotta shows to look forward to. One of 'em being a Bette Midler show. I think they got their ideas from ShowsLasVegas.com.

Anywaysss, about that Halloween costume, I guess we'll just wait and see... In the meantime, you guys can chip in your ideas ok!!
