Super Fun and Hot Event: SBG 2008!

Oh goshh! I haven't updated my blog in almost a week! I know I've been super slacking. It's just that after SBG last Saturday, I was busy catching up with new friends on Facebook and keeping up with all the uploaded photos of that night! So basically, I was just spending most of my time on FB rather than Blogger! Hehe..

I'm assuming I'm the only Sabahan left that hasn't posted up any pics or said at least 100 words about the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering last Saturday night. So since most of you have already heard about the fantastic event, I'm not gonna say much except for this: I had a freakin blast!

Okay, maybe I won't just end it there. I also gotta say that it was an awesome event.. The organizers did a great job.. A great round of applause to Daniel, Mel, Jacq, Weichuen, Dino, Julian and Fara. Ultimately, the night would've been a total bore if it weren't for the totally cool bloggers I finally met! Chegu Carol (who looked totally hot with her new haircut!), Massy (a gal who I finally met after yearsss of being cyberfriends!), PapaJoneh (who's actually crazier in person!), Amie (finally met since those mIRC days!), Osindak@Susan (a totally hilarious woman that's super fun to hang and be goofy with), Josie (who I only recognized when she called herself JosieKupi! hehe), Perry (tall lanky nice guy!), Xander (gilakk!! LOL! no la, he's actually very very nice and funny!), Mimieluv (I had no idea who she was until introduced by Massy), Zie (cool photographer of a guy!), Edgar (who just got himself a 450D and took amazing pics with it!), Julian (one of the first ones saw at the registration table), Weichuen and Dino (two super tall guys with tall gfs to match!! LOL!), Lorna@Webgrrl (who was nice enough to introduce herself!), E-Shark, Alice and Nancy Lamau (who happens to be my sis in-law's colleague!! what a small world!).. And of course bloggers who I met before like Olie, Mel, Dan, Jacq and Rainer. To those bloggers who I didn't introduce myself to, I'm terribly sorry! I promise I wont be malu malu next time!

I had a really fun night. Once when Osindak, Shemah and I were in the ladies room, Osindak told me to hurry up because she didnt wanna miss the lucky draw. So we rushed back to the gathering and true enough, the lucky draw just started. After only a few minutes of heating our chairs with our butts, Osindak's number was called! She's one lucky lady! So after a few draws and our numbers weren't called out yet, we moved to Osindak's table and jokingly told her to kiss our tickets and rub some of her luck on us! And wudya knoww... Shemah's number was called and she managed to win something!

THANKS SUSAN!! LOL! But look what Shemah hadta do before claiming her prize....

She hadta copy Mel's moves and they ended up doing it together! I couldn't find anyone who had a shot of her dancing! If anyone happens to have a shot or more, do pass 'em to me!

So after the gathering, a bunch of us headed over to Cocoon to drink the night away. I'm still waiting for photos from Radzie cuz I know he's got a ton of 'em waiting to be uploaded! Here are some pics of the after party I ripped off from Jacq..

So yeah, all in all.. I had a great time! There are so many more pics I wish I could share here but since I'm more of a FB person when it comes to photos, I guess you guys just gotta check out the rest there! Hehe..
