My Awesome Birthday Celebration!

OMGosshhh!!! I know it's been like foreverrrr since I last updated. I don't think I've ever NOT updated for more than a week! But I'm back with a super great post to entertain all of you guys. A post worthy of a week's long absence! But first of all before I go on any further, I'd like to thank all those bloggers namely Carol, Olie, Dena, Jacq, Osindak, Sabrina, KadusMama, Nessa, Aunty J, LadyJava, Arms, Flo, Edna, Quirin, Monica, Acom, Sheena, and Mel who all wished me a Happy Birthday here on my blog, my other blog, my cbox, and left messages on my FB wall. I totally appreciate it guys! It doesn't really matter if you guys were a day or two late in wishing me. It's the thought that matters.. Yeah, yeah.. what a cliche but that's why it's cliche-ed right? Cuz it's so true..

So on with the post.. Brace yourself for it's gonna be super long. But don't worry.. There's nothing about products like acne treatment or anything like that. It contains lotsa pictures anyway so you won't really be bored of my babbles here.. So let's get to it, shall we...

I know my birthday wish was to have each and every family member of mine to be home to celebrate with me but I guess I just can't win 'em all, can I? My eldest brother was at Sandakan, my other brother was at Tawau, Danial ended up at the hospital again (poor kiddo ), and obviously my sis in-law couldn't be with us too. So it was just the girls, Buddy, and the bro in-law. Baby Allie didn't follow cuz we didn't wanna bother her from her baby beauty sleep. Seri even skipped school just to celebrate my birthday! Couldn't complain about that! Hehe.. Here are my lovely sisters and I posing before leaving for breakfast! I love that everyone was so dressed up! Hehe..

I had the option of picking dinner over breakfast but since I was craving for American breakfast since last month, breakfast it was then! After coming up with some great options on where to have breakfast, we ended up stuffing our mouths with an awesome breakfast buffet at Five Sails, Magellan Sutera Harbour.

I totally enjoyed everything, especially the bread pudding!! Yumm-O!!! I stuffed myself silly with all the beef bacon, the scrambled eggs, and the meatloaf that by the time I finished my first round of the buffet, I was already pretty stuffed. I couldn't even get up to take the nasi lemak and roti canai. But then again, I could always get that anywhere right! I think even Buddy ate more than I did. He was immersed in his breakfast more than anybody else.

After breakfast, the rest of our time at Sutera Harbour was spent by taking loadsa pictures. And I mean, loadssss of pictures!

Told you we took loadsa pictures! Well, we did hafta burn those breakfast calories right! And what better way to do so than to pose, pose, and pose right! Hey, walking from the restaurant to the marina was quite tiring anyways ok! Hehe... There are a whole lot more pictures where that came from but I think that's pretty much enough for my blog post here.. You guys can check out the rest once I upload them up on Facebook ok! After enough pictures (of the same place! I could never be tired of taking pics! ) and tired feet, we headed back home. But that wasn't the end of my birthday celebration! No sirree... After like 10 minutes of rest and a change of clothes, everyone except for Mom and Allie headed over to One Borneo to finally watch The Dark Knight!

OMG, that movie is hardcore awesome! I'd love to babble about the movie but this is a birthday post, not a movie review.

After the movie, we headed back home and slept!!

LOL! Yeah right... You think that's it? As if!! There's still the birthday cake! Yup, the Chocolate Truffle Cake that was uber yummy and uber rich! Like, sinfully okayy! I even insisted on having 27 candles on my cake!

The devouration of the cake officially ended my birthday celebration. Yeah, it ended pretty early but it was fulfilling all the same! Of course it would've been awesome if everybody else was there but like I said, can't win 'em all! Just gotta make the best of what you got and I certainly think I made the best of my birthday celebration!
